My take on The 8 Limbs of Yoga Samadhi can be translated into enlightenment or bliss, this doesnt mean we find ourselves in a state of ecstasy, sorry (although tell that to me when I'm nailing pigeon) It's about being able to come to a point where we see everything that 'is' without all of the good and bad we attach to it. It's about realising that we are everything and everything is us, we are fully connected, we are simply what IS. This isnt for the faint hearted and you may feel the need to argue with this, get angry, FEEL and thats totally OK. Samadhi is where we let go and most of us just arent there. #8limbsofyoga #notjustasana #yoga #realyoga #yogateacher

Tomorrow is my last class for over a week whilst I

Tomorrow is my last class for over a week whilst I go away on holiday. I'm lucky to have people who can look after the orange bloom community, someone to look after the cat and about a million technologies to make sure business still runs. I am working from a place of privilege. I'm also aware I haven't taken a proper holiday for over 3 years. With a baby and the lockdowns I was still running my business online through my maternity and I still feel a little grief for that. I've taken odd days off teaching and stepped away from the computer but never for long. There's always a glimpse, always a social post, always an enquiry to get back to. So as of Friday morning I will be offline completely. There will be automated posts going out for various things and I'd love for you to comment on them to keep my social in good merits 😂 But mostly I ask for understanding and peace. If you have an enquiry or something you need from me then I will (as my out of office will say) get back to you when I am back online on 12th June. #holiday #muchneeded
