Yoga Beginners All you Need to Know

Never done yoga? Just started and want more guidance? Need to go back to the beginning to deepen your practise? 

Then come and spend a few nourishing hours with us at Orange Bloom. This workshop will be suitable for all bodies and can be mat or chair based.

I am Helen and I LOVE sharing the joys of yoga for your body, mind and spirit. In this workshop we will be exploring everything that yoga has to offer.

  • Yoga movement – an intro into the main postures and sequences you can expect in a class and how to adapt them to your body.
  • Breathing – how we use breathe in yoga and in everyday life to calm or energise (or both)
  • Meditation – we will be talking about how to start or continue a meditation practise and youll enjoy a guided ‘yoga nidra’ for deep rest at the end of our session
  • More to yoga – I will share with you what yoga IS and how it can benefit your whole life and not just be another exercise class.

Everything will be provided but if you prefer to bring your own mat and thermos cup for drinks then please feel free. A journal and pen is always useful if you like to make note but you will be provided with a yoga guide to take home with you.

You will also be supported by follow up videos for you to try at home.
