Teachers Louise Gresty

Yoga has been a big part of my life since I was a teenager. Having worked in a busy corporate environment for many years I frequently turned to yoga in order to manage my stress levels and get a better clarity of mind.

Having reaped the mental and physical rewards of developing my practise working with many teachers, including Senior Iyengar Teacher Julie Brown, Forrest Yoga Guardians Sandra Robinson and Jambo Truong and Sandra Sabitini of Scaravelli Yoga, I decided to take my first steps into becoming a yoga teacher in order to pass the benefits of yoga onto others.

I completed my first 200 hour teacher training with Julian Daizan Skinner of Zenways in 2013. More recently in 2016 I completed my second 200 hour yoga teacher training with Ana Forrest of Forrest Yoga. Forrest Yoga in particular has been a huge breakthrough for me as it has helped me to manage my own depression and anxiety.

I am hugely passionate about a regular yoga practise. I love teaching and passing my knowledge and experience onto other people. I believe anyone can do yoga (even the ones who can’t touch their toes!). My classes are tailored for all ages and abilities and look to use the power of breath, working to strengthen both body and mind, as well as having fun along the way.
