Teachers Helen Roscoe

I am particularly passionate about offering yoga as a creative, functional yet gentle practice. I love to draw inspiration from ancient yoga texts, poetry, art and nature to inform an embodied and thematic approach to my work.

I enjoy teaching small group and individual classes locally and offer retreats for people wishing to deepen their knowledge and experience of yoga. For me, yoga begins at the heart of the community and ripples from there, making it accessible and enjoyable is key so that everyone can receive its benefits.

I have been practising and studying yoga since the early 2000’s and have worked extensively with yoga therapist Zoë Martin in Leicester. My journey through yoga has seen me train therapeutically with some incredible teachers from around the world and in 2019 I trained in pregnancy yoga. Supporting women throughout pregnancy is extremely important and a beautiful, creative way to practice yoga.

Offering space and time for people to feel more at ease and supported by their own bodies, breath and mind is something that I hope feeds into all the classes I teach and one that inspires an approach to self-care that seeps into everyday life.

Regardless of experience, everybody’s welcome.

For pregnancy yoga you will need to be 14 weeks pregnant or more to attend.
